Auckland Packing Day 2024

This year, our volunteers in 14 cities and towns in New Zealand will pack a total of 34,000 Christmas Boxes, bringing hope to the table to well over 150,000 people at a time when budgets are stretched the most. 


In Auckland our target is to pack 16,000 of these Christmas Boxes, with distribution stretching from Wellsford to Meremere. 


Packing Day is a great way to help people in need across our city. It's a high-energy and fun event, and most volunteers return every year.

Auckland Weekday volunteering event - Friday, 29 November


For Auckland businesses looking to give back and help the wider community, the mid-week Christmas Box packing event is a popular volunteering opportunity.  
The task consists mostly of unpacking food items from pallets, and repacking them into Christmas Boxes, ready to be distributed by over 200 organisations throughout the city. 
This is an excellent team-building opportunity for any organisation or business. We have received feedback that this is a well-organised, upbeat and fun activity, and everyone leaves with a smile and a great sense of achievement! 

The event will run on Friday, November 29 , venue is yet to be confirmed.
